Sai is an interesting character with a sad past that has left her emotionally scarred. [Her younger sister, Lin, died when Sai was in Junior High School. Lin is the reason why she fights in Angelic Layer.] She is unfriendly and sometimes very harsh. She befriends Kaede and eventually learns to move on from her past.
