Overview:
While surveying the planet Terra II, the seeding ship, Mesopotamia, ran into difficulties. The seeding pod was launched; however, the ship destructed before the crew could escape. Only six men survived. 300 years later, Terra II flourishes but is an all-male society. Marionettes have taken the place of females; these are mechanoids devoid of feelings and carry out most of the tasks. Otaru Mamiya often wishes he could afford one but he likes life just the way it is. One day, he has had enough of his "best" friend, Hanagata, haggling him and thus decides to fight him and his gang. Just when he was getting the upper hand, he makes a mistake and falls into the river. Upon his recovery, he finds himself at the abandoned Japoness museum where he accidentally finds a marionette; however, Lime is not like any he has ever seen or heard. With the impending attack of Gartlant against Japoness, Otaru finds himself in the middle of a love triangle with 2 other marionettes, Cherry and Bloodberry....
Review:
An awesome series I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series. SMJ has some funny twists and turns but is still a great series. I would recommend it to anyone. Lime, Bloodberry and Cherry can certainly land their man into some sticky situations but somehow they all seem to get out of them :)
